Job Title

Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12 Weeks | Full-Time | 4x10s – Days | Monday through Friday | Start Time: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting, supporting open heart and vascular surgery procedures
• Perform circulating duties in the OR across up to 3–4 active operating rooms
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including DaVinci and Hybrid OR systems
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Fulfill on-call requirements including 2 weekend days per month (24 hours) and 5 weekdays including a Friday, beginning at end of shift at 16:30
• Collaborate as a team player with a critical thinking mindset to support heart and vascular patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Indiana or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular OR or related surgical nursing setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of circulating in an operating room environment
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles within a cardiovascular OR
• Familiarity with DaVinci robotic surgical systems and Hybrid OR environments
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented and positive attitude
