Warehouse Quality Control Supervisor
We are seeking a Warehouse Quality Control Supervisor to oversee product quality, food safety, and daily quality control operations in a refrigerated food distribution center. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and able to lead a team while maintaining quality and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily quality control activities, including product inspections and release procedures.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards, including HACCP, SQF, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Review inspection results, track quality issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Prepare quality reports and communicate with customers and management.
- Investigate customer complaints, order discrepancies, and product concerns.
- Schedule, train, and evaluate team members.
- Partner with warehouse supervisors to meet quality, productivity, and service goals.
Qualifications
- Two years of quality assurance or production supervisory experience, or relevant college-level management education.
- Warehouse, wholesale, or food distribution experience preferred.
- Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and GMP principles; related certifications preferred.
- Strong leadership, organization, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Flexibility to work different shifts based on business needs.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work in a refrigerated distribution center with varying temperatures.
- Lift up to 25 pounds and work at a computer for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
