Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to support a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in busy settings and are comfortable floating across multiple units as needed. Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Location: Atlanta, Georgia, 30303 Shift: Day/Nights Both available (3x12 hours) Contract Duration: 54 weeks Start Date: ASAP Role Overview We are looking for an experienced ED RN to work in a very busy Emergency Department, primarily caring for boarder patients. The nurse may also float to various acute care units including Med/Surg, Stepdown, or ICU based on facility needs. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department Manage care for ED boarder patients across multiple acuity levels (Med/Surg, Stepdown, ICU) Perform patient assessments, monitoring, and timely interventions Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Float to other acute care units as neededMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation Ensure adherence to patient safety and clinical protocols Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized Level 1 Trauma facility Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required Strong experience in Emergency Department settings Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills About Pride Health – Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
