Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWhat You’ll Do:• Provide full cycle accounting for a portfolio of class A office properties in the DC Metro Region• Create month-end accounting journal entries. Work with property staff, lease administration, and other internal teams to ensure property financials are accurate & complete.• Review all general ledger activity for accuracy and completeness• Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and SOX workpapers.• Draft variance report comments which explain a property’s performance against budget and prior periods.• Calculate tenant recovery billings for CAM and Tax• Review new leases at property to ensure accurate revenue recognition and recovery set-up.• Provide support for audit and tax compliance teams• Provide support for ad hoc ownership requests• Provide support to property management team. Be able to explain complex information to others without a financial background.• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values• Work within the client standard procedures to achieveWhat You’ll Need• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
