At Wag N Wash, we believe pets are family. As a Pet Groomer , you do more than make pets look great you help them feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. Youll build relationships with pet parents, provide expert grooming services, and create a safe, positive experience for every pet that walks through our doors.

This role is ideal for experienced groomers who take pride in their craft and want to grow in a pet-first, neighborly environment .

What Youll Do

• Provide full-service dog grooming including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling
• Groom to breed standards or customize based on each pet parents request
• Safely groom an average of 57 dogs per day (mix of full grooms and bath services)
• Deliver a grooming experience that gives every pet their best spaw day
• Help a nervous rescue feel comfortable or turn a muddy mess into a proud pup
• Build relationships with neighbors and recommend products/services for ongoing pet care
• Manage appointments and rebook clients using in-store tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming salon environment
• Support store events and collaborate with your team to grow your client base

What Were Looking For

• 1+ year of professional grooming experience (Pet Groomer, Dog Groomer, or Pet Stylist)
• Ability to perform breed-standard cuts (AKC standards preferred)
• Experience with hand scissoring, clipping, and finishing techniques
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and safe handling practices
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• You value safety first you are not expected to groom aggressive or unsafe pets
• Thrive in a team-based salon environment with consistent client flow and support
