Head of Growth
Studio Ready
We are seeking a full-stack Senior Growth Marketer who is ready to head the growth function at an established, expanding direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand. This role is an ideal next step for an experienced Senior Growth Marketing Manager, Senior E-commerce Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, or Growth Lead who operates as a true crossover practitioner—equally effective scaling paid acquisition channels as they are optimizing retention and lifecycle frameworks.
Since our founding in 2017, Studio Ready has built a highly receptive audience through organic channels, leaving our brand perfectly primed for scale. With our foundational paid media and lifecycle marketing channels already established, we are now looking for a seasoned practitioner to optimize this infrastructure and take it to the next level.
On day one, this is a hands-on, individual contributor role. You will take full ownership of the technical and creative execution of our growth engine—personally optimizing the ads, writing the copy, and refining the email flows. You will work in lockstep with the founder to steer the brand's creative direction. As you scale these channels and accelerate our growth, you will earn the mandate to transition from solo execution into department leadership, unlocking the budget to hire freelancers, specialists, and build your own internal marketing team.
About Studio Ready
Studio Ready is an established direct-to-consumer (DTC) fragrance and skincare brand. Our product portfolio includes premium fragrances, deodorants, body scrubs, and body oils. Having built an exceptional foundation through organic traction over the last nine years, we are now heavily investing in our paid marketing and sales infrastructure to unlock our next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Acquisition Optimization: Directly manage, optimize, and scale our performance marketing campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. Take over our existing accounts and focus on improving CAC, ROAS, and payback periods while scaling spend.
- Retention & Lifecycle Ownership: Thoroughly manage our email and lifecycle marketing programs within Klaviyo. Design, implement, and continuously test all core flows (welcome series, replenishment, win-back) and broadcast campaigns to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Founder Creative Partnership: Act as the strategic mind behind our direct-response marketing assets. You will write high-converting ad copy, script video hooks, and outline visual design briefs, working directly alongside the founder to produce, resource, and approve all final creative assets.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Routinely analyze user journeys on our Shopify platform and dedicated landing pages, deploying tests to lift baseline conversion rates.
- New Channel Development: Manage and scale our expanding digital marketplace presence and identify future omni-channel retail growth opportunities.
- Data Hygiene & Reporting: Maintain accuracy in our data attribution. Monitor and report on core metrics (MER, CAC, LTV, and retention) to ensure capital is allocated efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in DTC or e-commerce growth marketing with a demonstrable track record of driving revenue growth. Experience managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced agency environment or working within the beauty/CPG sector is highly preferred.
- Technical Suite Expertise: Expert-level, daily operational proficiency inside Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Shopify. You must be fully capable of building and optimizing accounts and flows without external technical support.
- Direct-Response Copywriting: Strong command of copywriting principles. You know how to write scroll-stopping ad headlines and email subject lines that maintain a premium brand voice.
- Analytical Skills: Fluent in Google Analytics (GA4) and e-commerce reporting frameworks.
- Operational Agility: Comfort working in a lean, founder-led environment. You possess strong visual taste, a high degree of professional ownership, and the stamina required for a high-execution role.
- Efficiency: Proficiency with modern productivity and AI tools to optimize workflow and increase creative output.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year plus performance bonus, commensurate with experience and execution capability.
- Performance Bonus: Generous performance bonus tied to profitable revenue growth.
- Health Insurance: Monthly healthcare stipend.
- Paid Time Off: Generous PTO policy plus paid company holidays.
- The Path: A clear trajectory to transition from a full-stack operator into a traditional department head with team-building autonomy as the brand hits its scaling targets.
- Reporting: Reports directly to the Founder.
