MRI Tech // Radiology – $1,505 weekly stipends, $14/hour, $504 weekly base pay. Onsite Contract. Starts 7/20/2026. 13 weeks. Day Shift 12 hours/day, 3 days/week. Location: HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital (Level II Trauma Center). Campus: Anywhere except the ER parking. Floor: 1st. Equipment: Client Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T. Responsibilities Work independently in the department with Radiologist availability for questions. Provide excellent patient care and keep the MRI environment safe for everyone. Adapt protocols for patients or physician needs. Learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures. Perform neuro exams including MRAs and MRIs of the head, neck, and spine. Perform abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs, and MRIs of the aorta, liver, and kidneys. Perform MSK exams including extremities and arthrograms. Display a friendly personality with excellent communication skills on the phone and in person. Act as a team player who strives to keep a relaxed and fun work environment with a great team. Read and follow unit policies and guidelines regarding safety and exams, built into the scanner for easy access and guidance. Qualifications Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters are most recruited for; candidates without these skills will not be considered. Ability to work independently in the department. Excellent patient care skills while keeping the MRI environment safe. Adaptability to protocols for patients or physicians. Willingness to learn new procedures from onsite and virtual training. Experience with neuro, abdominal, and MSK exams. Excellent communication skills and a friendly personality. Team player who keeps a relaxed and fun work environment. Benefits and Growth We are planning a software upgrade from Client 23X to the newest Client 30X with AirDL, providing faster scans and new neuro and abdominal sequences. Future growth will involve a second scanner and expansion of the department.
