Therapist for First Responders and Their Families Washington State | Flexible Hybrid Schedule At inLife Clinic, LLC , in Redmond, we specialize exclusively in serving first responders and their families. Our clinicians understand the unique culture, demands, and challenges of first responder life—both on the job and at home. We are seeking compassionate Washington-licensed therapists and social workers who are passionate about supporting first responders. Previous experience within the first responder community is valued but not required. We are willing to train clinicians who feel called to this meaningful area of practice. About the Role Our clinicians serve in two important capacities: Providing individual, couples, or family therapy in person and through telehealth Working onsite at one or more of our contracted first responder agencies This is an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships within the first responder community and make a lasting difference in the lives of those who serve and protect others. What We Offer Competitive compensation: Pay is based on clinical services provided, experience, and onsite agency hours Flexible scheduling: A combination of in-office, telehealth, and onsite agency work Administrative support: Our Client Services Manager handles inquiries, scheduling, insurance billing, and invoicing Supervision and mentoring: Supervision is provided at no cost Specialized training: Training in first responder culture and the unique needs of this population Collaborative team environment: Work alongside experienced and supportive clinicians, several of whom have personal or professional backgrounds in the first responder community Ongoing support: Regular team meetings, consultation, and professional development SimplePractice: A streamlined platform for scheduling, documentation, and telehealth services What You’ll Do Maintain an initial weekly clinical caseload of approximately 10-12 clients with opportunities for growth Provide compassionate, culturally responsive, evidence-based care to first responders and their families Participate in training related to first responder culture and agency-based services After being trained in working with first responders, work onsite at contracted first responder agencies, as assigned and mutually agreed upon Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes using SimplePractice Use the DSM-5-TR to formulate appropriate clinical diagnoses Provide treatment for trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, occupational stress, and other challenges affecting first responders and their families Participate in monthly Zoom team meetings and biweekly supervision, when applicable Collaborate with colleagues while maintaining appropriate clinical and professional boundaries Qualifications Active Washington State associate or independently licensed credential, such as LMHCA, LMHC, LSWAIC, or LICSW Working knowledge of the DSM-5-TR Training or experience in evidence-based approaches for trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and relationship concerns Experience working with first responders—or a genuine passion for learning how to serve this community Ability to use SimplePractice or willingness to be trained Strong documentation, communication, and relationship-building skills Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, teamwork, and culturally responsive care Compensation Compensation: Depends on level of experience, education, caseload, insurance reimbursement rates, and the number of onsite agency hours worked.
