Stand up a capable process, document it clearly, validate with data, and train the team—so production runs stable, safe, and efficient. Your mandate

• Standardize to stabilize: collaborate with product teams to create procedures and documentation that drive consistent, high‑quality, low‑cost builds.
• Invest wisely: provide technical support for capital equipment planning and implementation.
• Engineer excellence: design and optimize processes and tooling for existing lines and new product launches.
• Lead rigor: run APQP and continuous improvement using the Project Launch Guide and the Autocam Production System (APS).
• Lock it in: maintain accurate process documentation, work instructions, and cost standards.
• Quote with confidence: generate new part quotes and update existing customer quotations with precision.
• Elevate capability: train operators on machine operation, SPC techniques, document use, and process improvement.
• Build to print: interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T throughout manufacturing and inspection.
• Assure and protect: ensure compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent technical training with 2+ years of experience.
• Track record of problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Comfort with technical documentation, cost estimation, and manufacturing software systems.
• Fluent in complex documentation and able to communicate across shop floor to leadership.
• Experience in APQP, GD&T, and lean principles.
