We are currently seeking a dependable Forklift Operator I to join our team! In this role, you will transfer goods and materials from incoming and outbound shipments via a forklift, in addition to moving materials throughout the warehouse.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 / hour
Shift: Wednesday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Occasional overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Operate a manually controlled gasoline or electric-powered forklift to pick up, deliver, or move materials around the warehouse location.
• Material Handling: Move machinery to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. Load, unload, and stack materials onto lifting devices.
• Documentation: Weigh materials or products and record them on production schedules.
• Safety & Maintenance: Perform safety checks on lifts. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Teamwork & Policy: Follow instructions, either while working independently or as part of a team.
• Comply with all company policies and legal guidelines. Actively participate in safety policies, activities, and implementations.
• General Duties: Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands are deemed necessary.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience (Heavy Duty Forklift Operator experience preferred).
• Education: High school degree / GED or work equivalent required.
• Minimum lifting of 50 lbs for the duration of a shift.
• Required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
• Capable of working in an open workspace, closely with team members, where the noise level is usually moderate.

Skills:
• Reading and writing English, knowledge of airport codes destinations, and basic geography knowledge.
• Exhibit strong typing skills and/or data entry skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
