Job Description We are seeking a motivated and strategic insurance professional to run a Farmers insurance agency by leading the growth, operations, and client service functions of a dynamic insurance agency. Welcome to The Atlantic District. We are a locally-rooted insurance agency in Gloucester, Virginia, built on the belief that insurance is about people, not just paperwork. We are looking for an Agency Lead to help us steer our ship as we continue to grow and deepen our impact within our coastal community. Mentor and guide current staff members, helping them refine their sales techniques and client service approach. Develop and execute local outreach strategies that help us connect with neighbors and business owners throughout Gloucester. Manage lead pipelines and help the team convert opportunities into lasting policyholder relationships. Analyze sales metrics and performance trends to identify new ways we can improve our service offerings. Maintain high standards for policy accuracy, ethics, and regulatory compliance across all sales activities. Requirements Active Virginia Property and Casualty insurance license. Three or more years of experience in insurance sales or agency management. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team toward consistent growth. Deep knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products available in the Virginia market. Strong comfort level with modern agency management software and digital documentation.
