IT Support Technician Intern

J.H. Fletcher & Co., a worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery, has an opening for an IT Support Technician Intern at our Huntington, WV facility. This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment and is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a career in information technology. The intern will assist with providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and supporting various IT projects across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals
• Help maintain IT documentation and inventory records
• Respond to support tickets and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Maintain availability during morning shift
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

• Location: 402 High Street, Huntington, WV 25705
• Shift: Internship, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
• Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
