Job Location and Details Store #: 004101 – Sunglass Hut Position: Full‑time Requisition ID: 926115 General Function You are a licensed optician who serves as an ambassador of the Sunglass Hut brand, delivering great service through the Sunglass Hut Experience. You will be an on‑floor leader, filling ophthalmic sunglass prescriptions, fitting and adapting lenses and frames, and supporting store operations to help achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Major Duties and Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs. Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Use technology accurately despite time pressure, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, and use appropriate tools. Proactively explore root causes of issues, forward‑think, and ensure customer satisfaction, exceeding expectations. Multitask, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies. Help maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive, and organized. Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and committed to continual learning and improvement. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. State licensure in opticianry. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators. Embrace new technology and change. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience.
