Head of Growth

GetOut is a family membership platform giving 314,000+ members access to local attractions, activities, and entertainment across 34 markets in the western US. Members use one membership to visit hundreds of venues — and our job is to make sure they keep coming back and keep renewing. The Role We're hiring our first Retention & Loyalty Manager to build and run the programs that keep our members engaged and renewing. You'll own the strategy, execute the campaigns, and track the results. This is a hands‑on role — you'll be doing the work, not just directing it. You'll report directly to the VP of Operations and have a clear line of sight to the two metrics that matter most in this seat: renewal rate and member NPS. What You'll Do Design and launch loyalty programs — challenges, engagement mechanics, and rewards — that drive repeat usage and renewal Build and execute campaigns targeting families across app, email, and social Use member engagement data to identify drop‑off points and test retention interventions Partner with Venue Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Member Support to get things done Hire and develop Community Partnership Managers across markets as the program scales What We're Looking For Experience in loyalty, retention, lifecycle marketing, or member engagement at a consumer brand or membership‑based business You've personally contributed to a program that drove measurable retention or engagement results — you can name the numbers Local to Salt Lake City and able to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week — no relocation assistance available Comfortable working cross‑functionally without direct authority Strong data instincts: you set baselines, measure what you build, and act on what you find This role is probably not for you if: You're looking for a director or senior leadership role with an established team already in place You need a full benefits package — this is base salary only (benefits are on our roadmap, no current timeline) You're not local to Salt Lake City or can't commit to regular in‑office days Our Culture We move fast and we own our results.
