Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a temporary part-time Admissions and Enrollment Assistant for the Professional Science Master's (PSM) Program admissions and enrollment team. The position assists with applicant communications, admissions processing, enrollment activities, recruitment events, and data management to ensure efficient delivery of admissions and enrollment.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Assist the admissions team with application processing, monitoring applicant files, maintaining admissions records, tracking required documentation, and responding to applicant inquiries regarding application requirements and deadlines.
• Support communications with prospective, admitted, and current students; assist with onboarding, registration processes, orientation activities, and enrollment-related questions.
• Assist with recruitment initiatives, information sessions, webinars, open houses, outreach events, and follow-up communications with prospective students.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

FLSA - Nonexempt

Salary Details - $25 - $30 per hour

Position Status - Part Time

Working Hours - 19.5 hours per week

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Strong verbal and written communications skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to maintain confidential student and applicant information.

Preferred Qualifications - Two year's experience working in higher education, admissions, enrollment management, student services, or academic administration. Experience using student information systems, CRM platforms, or database (e.g. Navigate, Salesforce). Experience supporting recruitment events, orientations, or student engagement activities. Familiarity with FERPA and student records management.
