As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and materials, monitoring access points, documenting activity, and reporting security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and access‑control policies at a logistics and distribution location. Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with established site procedures. Verify identification, visitor authorizations, shipping documentation, and/or delivery credentials before permitting access to designated areas. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific emergency response procedures when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, loading areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security‑related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
