Join a fast-paced IR / Cath Lab team and deliver high-quality patient care in a specialized procedural setting.Job Details\n \n Location: Olney, MD\n Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Shift: 5x8 day shifts; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM\n Hours per Week: 40\n Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,420\n Employment Type: Travel\n Setting: Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab\n Charting System: Cerner\n Schedule Notes: No weekends or on-call; every other holiday required\n Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics\n Job Requirements\n \n Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience required\n At least 1 prior travel assignment required\n Valid Maryland radiologic technologist license required\n ARRT-R certification required\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications required\n Fluoroscopy permit required\n Ability to pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms\n Experience with Cerner preferred/required\n Strong sterile technique and scrub experience required\n Ability to operate the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm required\n Responsibilities\n \n Scrub and assist with interventional radiology, vascular, and pain management procedures\n Support procedures such as tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PEG tube placements, and Pleurx catheter placements\n Assist with pain management cases including epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations\n Assist with vascular procedures such as angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements\n Prepare the procedure room, set up equipment, and maintain a sterile field throughout each case\n Perform accurate monitoring and EKG lead placement as needed\n Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately within scope of practice\n Work flexibly in IR, Cath Lab, CT, X-ray, or bedside case locations as needed with the team\n Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate support to patients throughout the procedural experience\n Why You'll Love This Travel Healthcare Job\n \n Work in a highly specialized procedural environment that offers variety and skill-building every day\n Enjoy a weekday schedule with no weekends or call\n Experience life in Olney, Maryland, a comfortable suburban community with easy access to the Washington, D.C. metro area\n Take on a role where your expertise in IR, vascular, and pain procedures can make a meaningful impact\n \n Apply now for this Interventional Radiology Technologist travel job in Maryland and join a healthcare team that values your experience and dedication.
