Temporary Summer Custodian

Custodian for Summer Programs (Temporary)
Effective Date: Summer 2026
Hours: Varies - (2nd shift only) 2, 4, 6 or 8 hour positions available 5 days per week M-F
Pay Rate: $22.37 (Class I, Step 2)
Benefits: This position is not normally benefits eligible due to the length of the assignment and hours worked. However, if an employee meets the requirements they will be offered benefits.
Requirements:
- Clean and maintain areas of a school building such as sweeping, emptying waste baskets, mopping, vacuuming, minor repairs, setting up for events and take downs
- Prompt, regular and reliable attendance
- Able to lift 60 lbs
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Mechanical ability- HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Basic Repairs, etc. a plus
- Demonstrate written and verbal skills
- Other duties as assigned
