Performs assigned tasks in a manner reflecting and achieving the Vision consistent with the Company's Core Values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, & Growth and Results.Utilize and operate all forklift equipment for moving raw materials and finished product. Responsible for safe operation of forklifts throughout the facility and yard. Complies with all safety, quality, customer focus, preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards. All other duties as assigned and expected. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Transfer finished bundles of product from the table to the warehouse or yard inventoryIdentify and remove from inventory any damaged bundles noticed while placing finished bundles in inventoryInform supervisor on duty of any damaged bundles removed so rework, rebundling and retagging can be implementedScans bundles into the warehouse or yard locationEmpties scrap hoppers at each mill during shiftBand and haul off mill scrap from each mill during shiftAssists with moving tooling racks to mill for changeoversUnderstands the different pipe sizesUnderstands how to read and interpret the bundle tagsUnderstands the warehouse and yard layout for finished product storageProficient with removing bundles from tables, placing in inventory and keeping scrap hoppers emptyAssists during changeovers where neededRead and apply micrometer, caliper, gages and tape measureAbility to unload incoming shipments of raw material and various equipmentMaintain forklift certificationComplete knowledge of Company quality requirements and proceduresComplete knowledge of Company safety requirements and proceduresComplete knowledge of Company housekeeping rules for all work and non-work areas utilizedCommunicate to management and peers any safety, quality, preventative maintenance, customer focus, or equipment issues as part of the company's improvement initiatives OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Maintain regular and reliable attendanceWork cooperatively with others to ensure constructive and productive business relationshipsComply with all Company policies and proceduresBe able to understand and effectively use computerized business systems and other technology and business platforms  QUALIFICATIONS:Work well in a team-based environmentSelf-motivated and drivenProblem solving skillsContinuous improvement focusedStrong verbal and math skillsComputer literateAbility to read a tape measure, micrometer, caliper and gagesAbility to work flexible hours and overtime REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to conform to safety and quality requirementsAbility to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, twist, bend, kneel, see, talk, hearAbility to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently and on occasion lift or move 100 pounds.Ability to work in a non-climate controlled facility This job posting does not comprise an exhaustive list of all functions that this employee may be required to perform; the employee may be required to perform additional duties/functions as assigned.
