Admissions Support Center Specialist (Full-Time)

Location: Mesa, AZ (Corporate Support Center) | 100% On-Site (Must Work In Office)

Type: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week) | Non-Exempt

Schedule: Set weekly schedule within operational hours (includes evening coverage and approximately two weekend shifts per month)

Compensation: $17.84 – $21.40 per hour

Position Summary

Are you a great listener with a passion for helping others? Do you thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment? Pima Medical Institute is seeking an Admissions Support Center Specialist to join our team on-site at our Mesa Support Center.

In this role, you will be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, connecting with prospective students and their families to guide them toward their educational goals. If you can combine empathetic customer service with active listening to help set appointments and remove barriers for future healthcare professionals, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Communication:

• Connect with Compassion: Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to prospective students and families using an empathetic approach to answer questions and schedule campus appointments.

• Supportive Guidance: Provide accurate, encouraging information regarding school programs, policies, and admissions processes; reschedule appointments as needed to keep students on track.

• Outreach & Follow-Up: Perform outreach to missed appointments to encourage rescheduling; assist with distributing program information and prospective applicant mailings.

Systems & Calendar Management:

• Calendar Accuracy: Maintain campus admissions calendars to ensure seamless appointment scheduling for campus teams.

• Lead Tracking: Add new leads into the student contact management system (CRM) and maintain detailed records of all calls, inquiries, and student interactions.

• Reporting & Collaboration: Review lead, appointment, and enrollment reports; collaborate with call center peers to continuously refine customer service standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Work Location: Must be able to work 100% on-site at our Mesa, AZ corporate office location.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of call center, administrative, or customer service experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).

• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a patient, customer-centric phone presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior sales, admissions, or higher education experience.

• Practical experience using a CRM or lead management system.
