Chief Medical Officer Location: Hamilton, Montana Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction, and coordination of divisional operations consistent with organizational mission and objectives. Serve as senior medical officer of the hospital and communicate between Hospital Administration and Medical Staff. Advise Hospital Administration on medical matters. Lead employed outpatient clinics. Collaborate with Executive Team to fulfill hospital objectives. Minimum Qualifications Education: M.D. or D.O. degree. Master’s degree in Health Administration or Business Administration or Certified Physician Executive Certificate desirable. Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: Board Certification. Current Montana Medical License. Never had medical license suspended or revoked. Experience: Six (6) years clinical practice experience. Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledgeable in areas of health care finance, government regulations, health technologies, and medical staff credentialing. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with Medical Staff, Administration, Management Staff, and the general public. Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Positive demeanor in dealing with people and problems. Must possess computer skills. Schedule Flexible based on clinical practice (preferred) and duties assumed. Benefits Benefit eligibility based on full or part time.
