As an Inside Sales Representative for IPS you will work to increase sales, provide customer service, and support the Service Center in sales & distribution activities.Provide timely customer service, purchasing, and supplier management supportCreate quotes for customer orders and communicate with the sales team to ensure accuracyProcess customer orders and advise on availability, correct part numbers, shipping charges and priceEstablish long-term customer relationships utilizing sales techniques, policies and philosophies of the company, and service center capabilitiesConsult with appropriate management on problems involving pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptationsHave thorough knowledge of competition in the marketplace and competitive bid situationsTimely and accurate selection and procurement of motors and other electrical equipment from suppliersAnalyze and understand customer requirementsSupport sales team with invoicing, parts ordering, and researching most cost effective optionsResponsible for investigation and resolution of customer complaintsCoordinate customer service objectives with departmental and service center operationsProvide customer and sales correspondence including, tracing of shipments, order processing, customer credits and inventoriesQualifications and Competencies:Ability to process high transactional volumeCustomer-focused mentalityGreat communication skillsMust be self – motivated and a team playerProfessional phone and email etiquetteAbility to multi-taskGood technological proficiency, Office Suite, Inventory & Database SystemsBe able to report and work daily in the Meridian facilityIndustrial Inside Sales background preferred but not requiredNew motor or electrical component knowledge preferred but not requiredBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO)401k Employer MatchBonus IncentivesTuition Reimbursement ProgramMedical, Dental and Vision plansEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)And more!IPS is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status.Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
