Work in Openshift thoroughly. Oracle cloud experience - they will migrate in future. JBOSS experience. WebServices experience. Java (Springboot). RabbitMQ. GIT. Expert in working for policies for healthcare industry would be preferred. DevOps. Kubernetes. CI/CD Pipelines.

Job Duties:

New project, Payment - large project. Dedicated Oracle cloud, OpenShift, Kubernetes migrating to OCI infrastructure later on. As a Senior DevOps Engineer with cloud infrastructure experience, your primary responsibility will be designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps pipelines using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This will include optimizing deployment processes, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with development and operations teams. Strong skills in automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and OCI services like Compute, Networking, and Identity are essential. Additionally, you will be tasked with continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring, and troubleshooting to enhance overall system performance and resilience. The mission is to support the project team by providing infrastructure, resources, and tools that allows the team to automate, develop, self-service and experiment. The Sr DevOps Engineer will also help drive continuous improvement in our software development life cycle by improving our release processes, enhancing our tooling, and driving automation. Work with the team. Standing up and scripting of the environments, strong in Docker and Kubernetes. Strong pipelines and deployment. OCI skill - Terraform. Work across cross functional teams. Self starter, independent, solve problems. Enterprise guideline and show work arounds and demonstrate proven experience. Support Engineering and Platform automation efforts with development and scripting skills. Automate operational processes using scripting languages. Develop, implement, and continually improve system and network monitoring and alerting capabilities and procedures. Identify and solve problems related to performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. Implement/maintain Cloud security guidelines and best practices. Work with Oracle OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), Relational and NoSQL Databases. Maintain document and diagram workflows and environments and communicate changes both verbally and in writing. Works with project teams to employ best practices in source control, continuous integration and delivery.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in computer science, management information science or equivalent. 7+ years of experience within Openshift and Java-Spring Boot both. 5 years of experience with container-based platforms. (Docker, Kubernetes-Devops). Experience in working in policies for healthcare industry would be preferred. Experience working with Java language is a must. (Spring Boot framework). Experienced with OpenShift application scaling, OpenShift administration, deployments, RBAC, networking and OpenShift handling Docker and Kubernetes. Extensive experience working as DevOps Engineer which includes expertise in collaboration, communication, and automation across development, operations, and security teams. Proficient and well versed with Kubernetes concepts like pods, deployments, services, and namespaces. Highly skilled in CI/CD automating the software lifecycle using multiple platforms like Jenkins. Altogether ensuring Efficiency, High Scalability and Reliability, Reduced costs and faster release cycles. Enterprise guideline and show work arounds and demonstrate proven experience. A working understanding of CI /CD tools and pipelines. Experience working in an Agile, fast paced, DevOps, Development environment. Basic Linux skills and windows administration skills. A working understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and firewalls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences.
