Job Summary At HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, we seek a Sonographer with ARDMS credentials (or Ultrasound Technologist) on a full‑time basis. Join our team to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in West Florida. Responsibilities Prepare and position patients and equipment safely and competently. Obtain and document a complete patient history related to the procedure, and procure informed consent per departmental policy. Maintain statistical results for quality improvement. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures within scope of practice, and with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, or test results. Qualifications Two‑year Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Valid ARDMS registry with RVT, AB, or OB/GYN specialty(ies). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 1–3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer). Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer‑relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer (MEDITECH), and clerical skills.
