Reporting to the AVP Talent Acquisition & Experience, the Talent Acquisition Specialist 2 independently manages full-cycle recruiting for high-volume and moderate-complexity roles across the Credit Union, including branch, member contact center, operations, and select exempt or specialized positions. The role partners with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and success profiles, develop role-specific sourcing strategies, evaluates candidate qualifications using structured practices, provides practical labor-market guidance, and delivers a consistent, compliant, and high-quality candidate experience. This position is distinguished from Talent Acquisition Specialist I by broader requisition ownership, stronger sourcing and assessment capability, greater independence, basic recruiting analytics, and early-stage talent advisory responsibilities. This position also focuses on efficiency and quality while supporting evolving recruiting practices, including the use of technology and AI-enabled tools.
The role focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and maintaining strong candidate pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

• Independently manage end-to-end recruiting for assigned high-volume and moderate-complexity roles from intake through offer acceptance.
• Conduct structured pre-screening interviews, recommend qualified candidates, facilitate selection progress, partner on offer strategy within established guidelines, and ensure tracking of accurate ATS documentation and candidate dispositioning for assigned roles.

Sourcing and Outreach:

• Develop and execute role-specific sourcing strategies for branch, member contact center operations, and select specialized roles using job boards, referrals, social platforms, community partnerships, local outreach, talent communities, and approved AI-assisted tools. Build proactive pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill roles.
• Represent the credit union at job fairs and community events as needed.

Hiring Manager Support:

• Lead intake and calibration discussions for assigned roles. Clarify success profiles, required versus preferred qualifications, interview plans, and selection criteria. Provide practical market feedback regarding candidate availability, sourcing challenges, compensation competitiveness, and realistic timelines. Provide hiring managers with candidate recommendations and ongoing communication regarding applicant progress.

Compliance:

• Apply structured, consistent, and job-related screening and selection practices. Ensure accurate documentation, dispositioning, records retention, and adherence to applicable federal, state, local, and internal hiring requirements across assigned locations.
• Support documentation and audit readiness for hiring processes.

Reporting:

• Monitor pipeline health, requisition aging, source effectiveness, interview conversion, offer acceptance, and candidate flow for assigned portfolios. Identify barriers and recommend practical improvements to sourcing or process execution. Reports to People Services Leadership on a regular basis.

Candidate Experience:

• Deliver timely, transparent, and professional candidate communication throughout the hiring cycle. Partner with TA Operations and employer-brand resources to reinforce Nuvision’s employee value proposition and candidate experience standards.
• Maintain confidentiality, represent the Credit Union professionally, and perform other related duties as assigned. Treats co-workers and members with respect
• Participate in process improvement, structured assessment design, technology adoption, TA Specialist training, and approved AI-enabled recruiting initiatives. Share effective sourcing practices and provide informal guidance to Talent Acquisition Specialist I or TA Coordinator team members as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three to five years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including high-volume, multi-site, and multi-state recruiting.
• Experience using ATS platforms, sourcing tools, job boards, and candidate communication tools.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and proficiency with standard office software.
• Experience collaborating with third party vendors/agencies
• Strong demonstrated knowledge of talent acquisition practices, structured screening and interviewing, EEO and candidate dispositioning requirements, multi-state hiring considerations, records retention, and basic compensation and offer processes.
• Working knowledge of AI-enabled recruiting tools, candidate assessment risks, candidate experience, and employer-brand principles
• Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and utilization of state (multi-state) and federal employment/labor laws and statutes, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and other DOL regulations as well as HR policies, practices and principles Understanding of Affirmative Action, EEOC, Titles VII & IX DOL
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, stakeholder communication, prioritization, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to interpret basic recruiting data, identify pipeline concerns, and provide practical recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency with ATS/HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter or comparable sourcing tools, Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and web-based recruiting applications.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions with attention to detail and service quality. The number of requisitions can fluctuate and are dependent on complexity and operational support.
• Strong conflict and problem resolutions skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage hiring-manager relationships and requisition portfolios.
• Analytical mindset to assess recruitment data and metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Financial Institution is preferred.
• Understanding of credit union operations or financial industry roles is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent

• Arizona: Min $30.11 - Mid $37.64 - Max $45.17
• Nevada: Min $30.81 - Mid $38.52 - Max $46.22
• Texas: Min $29.56 - Mid $36.95 - Max $44.34
• Wyoming: Min $30.25 - Mid $37.82 - Max $45.38

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
