Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Position Overview The Congenital Heart Collaborative at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital seeks a Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our growing team in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. The position offers a very competitive salary and benefits package. Successful candidate will join an outstanding team of board-certified pediatric cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. You will represent and further the division’s impact locally, nationally, and internationally. The Heart Center includes experienced specialists and state-of-the-art Catheterization and Electrophysiology Suites. A strong fetal program performs over 1,000 fetal echocardiograms annually. Primary Responsibilities Provide all aspects of electrophysiology services, including electrophysiology studies, RF ablation and cryoablation, and device implantation. Participate in specialized device services/clinics, channelopathy, sudden death, and autonomic dysfunction clinics. Care for patients with arrhythmias from fetal life through adulthood. Engage in research, quality improvement, administrative development, leadership, education, and support for academic pursuits. Academic rank and appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine determined by credentials and experience. Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent degree. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology. Additional fellowship training, board certification and other professional interests welcomed. Advanced training in performing and interpreting invasive and noninvasive electrophysiology procedures, or equivalent experience.
