Packer 1st Shift (East Moline, IL)

Overview

We are hiring Production Associates to support daily warehouse and production operations in East Moline, IL. In this role, you'll work hands-on with copper tubing and pipepulling orders, preparing materials, and ensuring products are accurately processed, packaged, and shipped to major retail customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately complete assigned tasks, work orders, and production jobs on schedule
• Pull copper tubing and pipe to fulfill customer and production orders
• Move materials to designated pick and staging locations
• Cut pipe according to specifications and document completed work
• Label, barcode, bundle, and wrap materials to ensure accurate tracking and safe transport
• Apply protective coverings to wire and tubing prior to shipment
• Package finished goods securely in boxes or other containers
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently
• Perform scrap sorting and material segregation to support inventory accuracy
• Assist in multiple departments, including receiving, shipping, saw operation, and work order fulfillment
• Operate hand tools and basic machinery safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, production, or general labor preferred
• Ability to safely use hand tools and basic equipment
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and order picking is a plus
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials (including pipe and tubing) throughout the shift
• Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing
• Strong attention to detail in labeling, cutting, and packaging
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including work orders and cut sheets
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
