Every finished component begins with careful attention to production requirements, quality specifications, and safe work practices, and that's where you come in. You'll assemble bushing components using designated equipment, tools, and work instructions while performing quality checks throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with team members, supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance staff, you'll help ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement across the operation. If you enjoy hands-on work, attention to detail, and contributing to a team that manufactures precision components, you'll thrive in this role.What We Are Looking For!Assemble high-voltage bushing components according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards.Perform mechanical assembly of sub-components and finished products.Complete final assembly operations, ensuring all parts are properly fitted, secured, and inspected.Install hardware, seals, fittings, conductors, insulation materials, and related components.Use hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively.Drive continuous improvement across supplier base to improve lead times, reliability, and cost efficiencyCollaborate closely with operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment on material requirements and specificationsPrepare and operate foaming equipment in accordance with production requirements.Mix, measure, and apply foam materials according to established specifications.Monitor foaming processes to ensure proper material distribution, curing, and quality.Perform inspections of foamed components and identify defects or nonconformances.Maintain cleanliness and organization of foaming equipment and work areas.Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify product quality.Read and interpret work orders, drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.Identify and report quality issues, defects, and process abnormalities.Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and PPE requirements.Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S principles.Participate in safety meetings, training, and improvement activities.Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses immediately.Adhere to environmental, health, and safety requirements at all times.What You Will Bring!1-3 years of manufacturing, assembly, production, or industrial experience.Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures.Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.Strong commitment to safety and quality.Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Experience in electrical equipment, transformers, insulation, or high-voltage manufacturing.Experience with foaming, resin, composite, or insulation processes.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Forklift or overhead crane experience.Strong communication skills with a hands-on, execution-focused mindsetExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and material specificationsExperience working in high-paced, high-mix production environmentsWhat You Can Expect From HSP!We offer numerous benefits for our employees.Innovation in ActionWork with cutting edge technology and state of the art equipment in a culture obsessed with doing things better every day.Growth OpportunityBuild, shape, and elevate a fast growing operation—your impact starts on day one.Competitive Pay & BenefitsEarn strong pay, bonus potential, full health coverage, and meaningful PTO including diversity days to celebrate what matters to you.Our Commitment to InclusionWe are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
