As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team that is committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients.Responsibilities:Treat patients as directed by licensed Occupational therapistsDemonstrate a positive attitude and team-building approach with all patients, clients, and team membersMaintain productivity standards as determined by your supervisor and clinical needsDemonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulationsTreat patients according to treatment plansRecord clinical documentation according to accepted regulatory and professional guidelinesRecord daily treatment charges per approved billing guidelinesInstruct families and nursing staff regarding restorative/home programs as directed by staff therapistsCommunicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plansCOTA Responsibilities:Provide recommendations for home modifications and adaptive equipment with training as neededEnsure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of careMonitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaborationProvide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregiversCollaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is providedEnsure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirementsComply with all rules, regulations, and proceduresAttend required meetings as designated by the Director of RehabRequirements:Associate's degree or greater in Occupational Therapy AssistantValid Occupational Therapy Assistant LicenseIn good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boardsWe welcome new grads !!Salary: $45 - $55If you are a skilled and dedicated COTA looking for a new opportunity, please apply to this role.
