Entry-Level Warehouse Forklift Operator (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Gilroy, CA

Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary-to-Hire

(Eligible for permanent hire after 30 days)

Select Staffing is hiring Entry-Level Warehouse Forklift Operators for a fast-paced warehouse environment. No prior forklift certification required. Training is provided for qualified candidates..

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily forklift safety inspections.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Receive, move, store, pick, and transport inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers, vendor deliveries, and flatbed trucks.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain accuracy.
• Follow warehouse safety, stacking, and storage procedures.
• Assist with inventory verification and warehouse organization.
• Move pallets, drums, totes, and other materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to pass a basic English and math assessment.
• Comfortable using scanners, printers, and warehouse technology.
• Ability to complete forklift operator training successfully.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and safety mindset.
• Team-oriented with a positive work ethic.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
