Austin, TX (first two weeks remote to get acclimated with the project) 3+ Month Contract Start ASAP Duties: Programming embedded controls in Matlab Simulink on a truck Qualifications Min Requirements:
- Model based development using Matlab Simulink
- Experience with rapid prototyping tools such as Raptor tool chain or Open Ecu or others
- Working knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN/J1939
- Experience with communication and calibration tools such as Vector CanAlyzer or other similar tools
- Capable of understanding of wiring diagrams and other electrical engineering artifacts and providing review comments
- Previously implemented key functionalities such as Cooling, Propulsion system, vehicle accessories control
- Experience with on vehicle testing/debugging and performing calibration of various vehicle functions
- Experience with class 8 trucks
- Understanding of engine interfacing requirements
- Knowledge of tools such as git, jira, requirements management tools
- Experience with programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, python.
