Job Description

Job Opportunity: PICU Registered Nurse

Our organization is in search of a skilled PICU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity pediatric unit located in Boston, MA. This contract position offers a chance to deliver critical care based on evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities

Administer critical care to pediatric patients, including managing ventilators and complex medication drips.
Monitor hemodynamic status and respond effectively to pediatric emergencies.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to ensure optimal care.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Provide education and support to families regarding their child's condition and care.
Document all care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMRs).

Qualifications and Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
Experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
