The ideal candidate will use their knowledge and experience to receive incoming material; maintain accurate accountability of receiving and record additions and deletions for materials from the record; you will prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements and transport material internally. Our Warehouse Associates are expected to execute standard procedures and assist the logistics team in fulfilling tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:/pulliShipping/receiving inventory, picking and packing of orders in a warehouse in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)/liliLoading and unloading materials to and from designated storage areas such as racks, shelves or vehicles/liliIdentify, separate, label and/or palletize materials/liliInstalling protective packaging, padding, bracing or strapping to items being transported to prevent damage/liliAssisting drivers in loading or off-loading arriving trucks/tractor trailers/liliVerification of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure that quantity count is accurate, and no damaged merchandise is received or sent out/liliReport damages and/or compliance issues to immediate supervisor/liliMaintain clean work environment/liliWork with RF gun/scanner/liliOperate forklift, pallet stacker, pallet jack required/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliOne-year warehouse experience/liliOperate forklift, pallet stacker, pallet jack required/liliValid drivers license required./liliBi-lingual a plus./liliGood verbal communication skills./liliBasic computer skills to include email, data entry using Microsoft Excel and/or Word and typing at approximately 30 wpm/liliAbility to read invoices, labels, codes, weights and measurements/liliAbility to routinely lift 70 pounds/liliAbility to stand for long periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes/liliAbility to make repetitive movements including but not limited to lifting, bending and/or squatting/liliAbility to work in a warehouse environment subject to moderate deviations in temperature, moving machinery and low levels of noise/liliMust pass drug test and background check./liliMust live within a 35-mile radius of job location./liliMust have initiative, be dependable, and timely./liliMust be cordial to coworkers and drivers./li/ulpEducation:/pulliMinimum high school diploma or GED/li/ulpBenefits Compensation:/pulliCompetitive Compensation Depends on Experience/liliHealth Insurance/liliDental Vision Insurance/liliLife Insurance/lili401(k)/liliEmployee Assistance Program/li/ulpIf you enjoy a fast paced environment, are a self-starter, have great organizational skills and are a team player - apply for this great position today.
