Ultrasound Technologist Senior - Nights

Hourly Pay Range: $37.47 - $58.08 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights:

SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000

Position: Ultrasound Technologist Senior Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL Full Time, 30 hours weekly Hours: 11pm to 6:30am, weekend 7:00pm to 6:30am Week One: Sunday, Monday, Thursday Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday What you will do: Reporting to the Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the team facilitator and the team, performs ultrasound scans on patients in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis of medical disorders. Monitors patient's condition; maintains area equipment and supplies; assists in training technologists and students. What you will need: The level of knowledge normally obtained through an accredited Ultrasound program including clinical training. All sonographers must be certified and currently registered as a RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), RT(S), RT (VS), RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must obtain certification within 24 months of graduation from ultrasound program. Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics. Current CPR(BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Qualifications: High School/General Studies Required Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographics required. Registry license, required Demonstrated leadership and initiative. Excellent communication skills.
