Overview
We are seeking a Senior EDI Developer Consultant with strong technical and functional expertise in EDI integrations, SAP S/4HANA, and middleware platforms. The consultant will design, develop, support, and optimize end-to-end EDI solutions while working closely with business teams, SAP teams, and external trading partners.
Description:
- Lead end-to-end EDI solution design, development, and implementation aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.
- Develop and support EDI integrations between SAP S/4HANA, middleware, and third-party systems.
- Work with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, IDoc, XML, and other EDI formats, including mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Manage trading partner onboarding, connectivity, testing, certification, and production readiness.
- Support middleware platforms such as SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP PI/PO, and EDI translators.
- Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot integration failures, and resolve defects and production incidents.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and error-handling processes to ensure reliable data exchange.
- Collaborate with functional teams across OTC, P2P, Logistics, and Finance to validate business processes and EDI scenarios.
- Create and maintain interface mappings, technical documentation, process flows, and support procedures.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities, including defect resolution and production support.
- Ensure EDI solutions meet security, audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders, SAP teams, vendors, and trading partners to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in EDI development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, IDocs, and EDI interfaces.
- Experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, mapping, and transformation.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Integration Suite/CPI, PI/PO, or EDI translators.
- Experience with trading partner onboarding, testing, and certification.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, and production environments.
