Your Role Includes:

• Performing holistic patient evaluations, prescribing appropriate diagnostic tests, and tailoring patient care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions either independently or alongside a physician (per your scope of practice)
• Guiding patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Dispensing prescriptions and initiating treatments as permitted
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Accurately recording patient information in electronic health records (EHR)

Education Needed:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a suitable equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain within 90 days)
