Termite Technician

We aim to protect people, enhance lives, and preserve the planet. Responsibilities Identify customer termite problems and understand termite behaviors to determine remedial steps. Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines and standard practices. Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Communicate critical conditions conducive to termite activity to customers and discuss procedures and potential structural modifications. Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided. Interact with customers and explain services provided. Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp or dusty locations. Prepare the job site for treatment; enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb structures; ascend/descend stairs and ladders. Work up to 20 feet on ladders and in small confined spaces. General labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus; ability to work on roofs and high areas. Move frequently: sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles. Wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator; work in confined spaces and narrow passageways as needed. What You Need High school diploma or GED; clean-shaven face for safety reasons related to respirator seal. Valid driver’s license in your state of residence; company vehicle and gas card provided. At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn; flexibility with working hours (Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed). Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us). Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals). Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels. Compensation Base Pay Range: Hourly $20.00 – $23.00. Starting pay falls within the range and may vary by location, skills, education, and experience.
