Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Responsibilities:

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce images for diagnosis.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain accurate records and manage supply inventory.
• Ensure adherence to patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
