Warehouse Material Handler

Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator, under direct supervision, is responsible for successfully moving materials throughout the facility operating a forklift, including unloading raw materials and moving finished products to designated area. Will perform other duties as assigned by production supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate forklift safely.
2. Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
3. Store the products in proper places in manufacturing facility.
4. Deliver products to various units in safely and timely manner.
5. Sort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company procedures.
6. Utilize company tracking system to ensure accuracy of all product movement.
7. Prepare and complete paperwork associated with manufacturing.
8. Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.
9. May perform other duties as assigned including general housekeeping

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Language Skills

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; proficiency in Spanish to interact with a diverse workforce preferred.
