Production OperatorProduction Operator Bethlehem, PA Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm $20 per hourJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will primarily operate machinery to shape and form metal according to project specifications. While the core focus of this position is metal fabrication and machine operation, approximately 5% of your time will involve operating a sit-down forklift to move raw materials or transporting finished parts across the shop floor.Core ResponsibilitiesMetal Forming & Production (95%)Operate metal forming machinery to produce parts to specifications.Load raw metal stock into machines safely and efficiently.Perform basic quality checksMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workstationPerform basic routine maintenance and routine cleanup on production tools and equipment.Material Handling & Forklift Operation (5%)Safely operate a sit-down forklift on an occasional basis to move raw materials and finished components.Assist with staging materials for incoming/outgoing shipments when necessary.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred (metal fabrication is a plus).Forklift Certification: Sit-down forklift experience; must be able to pass on-site forklift safety certification upon hire.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly during a shift.Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and standard operating procedures.Apply NOW!Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per HourAll compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
