Position Summary Equipment operators are responsible for operating heavy equipment to assist in the handling, loading, unloading, and transportation of marine products and equipment at their respective OneWater Marine location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate equipment to load, unload, and move boats, parts, and equipment within the facility. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. Communicate with team members and management to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion. Help maintain the store lot clean and organized as instructed by management. Report any damage or concerns about boats or equipment to management. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations. Stay updated on all safety regulations, equipment training, and equipment operating certifications. Perform all other duties as assigned. Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to equipment operation. Qualifications / Requirements Valid driver’s license. Equipment operator certification (forklift, crane, etc.). Physical Demands Standing or sitting for prolonged periods; repeating motions of the hands and fingers; moving about to accomplish tasks; operating motor vehicles; communicating with others; assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work; hearing, talking, seeing, and hand/foot coordination. Work Environment The position operates exclusively in an indoor office environment with controlled temperatures. No adverse environmental conditions are expected. There are no hazardous conditions, poor ventilation, small or enclosed spaces, noisy environments, or exposure to intense weather conditions. Physical demands include sedentary work that primarily involves sitting and standing, with occasional light to heavy work (up to 100 pounds).
