Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time - Days Under the supervision of the Director of Rehab Services and Physical Therapist, to provide various methods of Physical Therapy according to patient treatment plan. To serve as a resource person for PT's, PT Assistants, and PT Aides. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services according to patient treatment plans under supervision. Serve as a resource for PTs, PT Assistants, and PT Aides. Minimum Education Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program. Minimum Work Experience Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Eligible for or licensed by the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion of department-specific and/or hospital-required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
