FILM EXTRUSION LINE OPERATOR

Reports To: Production Manager and Designated Shift Lead

Job Overview:Employee will be responsible for operating bag machines and associated equipment to safely produce high-quality bags in accordance with the job safety analyses (JSA’s), production schedule, set-up instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies
• Read and verify line orders/dockets
• Understand job requirements by the specifications
• Perform quality checks of material being produced and complete related documentation (able to read tape measure)
• Prepare packaging materials for upcoming jobs
• Complete daily production paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Punctual
• Work overtime as required
• Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Physical Requirements:
Requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Lifting/Carrying (minimum of 50 lbs.)
• Standing/Walking for long periods (up to 12 hours)
