Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Elma, WA

Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a Critical Access Hospital with a 24/7 Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma designation. The physician will provide high-quality emergency care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support quality improvement initiatives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency patients.
• Perform medical assessments and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support emergency preparedness and clinical protocol development.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Active Washington State medical license (or eligible to obtain).
• Active DEA registration.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• ATLS certification within six months of hire.
