The expectation is that teachers will practice reflective teaching strategies and seek continuous self‑improvement. Qualifications Comprehensive knowledge of instrumental music pedagogy. Instrumental music teaching experience preferred. Valid IL educator licensure with proper endorsement(s). Working Conditions $61,877.70 minimum annually with benefits. Actual compensation based on education and experience. Salary and Benefit Information Our beginning salaries for this school year can be found here. Benefits for this position include access to health insurance, dental insurance, long‑term disability insurance, and life insurance. Some tuition reimbursement is available for graduate-level courses in the field of education. Tier 2 TRS employees may be eligible for additional retirement savings benefits.
