Your Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic assessments, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in conjunction with physicians or independently, depending on credentialing
• Fostering educational dialogues with patients and families surrounding prevention, health, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance to your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education & Certifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Credentials

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
