Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Upstate New York

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM shift. Floating to other units as needed. Block scheduling based on operational needs.

Highlights:

• 64-bed Emergency Department including acute care, triage, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and psychiatric beds
• Diverse patient population spanning all age groups from newborns through geriatrics
• Common diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Specialized equipment experience including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license verified through NURSYS
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
• Proficiency with critical care drips including pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine), vasodilators (Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG), anti-arrhythmics (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine), sedation medications (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl), TNK, Heparin, and Insulin
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must reside 75+ miles from facility to qualify for travel compensation; local rate available for candidates within 75 miles
