Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience working with young adults Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of hire Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively Demonstrated ability to maintain records and to prepare standard reports Demonstrated good telephone skills Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of assignments Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with high school level students with minor discipline problems Demonstrated organizational ability and effective time management Previous experience working with at-risk students College course work in education or related field

Contract Terms: Hourly Position - 7 hours a day Monday through Thursday Hours to be determined by Principal Hourly Employee Salary Schedule Benefits - None

General Description: Monitor student behavior in "In-School Detention" classroom and after school detention, complete paperwork on PC computer, input information on PC computer, contact parent(s)/guardian(s), maintain files on students in program, work in cooperation with teachers, administrators, program director, and support staff. Perform any and all other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
