The AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) service delivers high performance virtualized storage "in the cloud" for EC2. Data service offerings are the differentiating factor that drive customer adoption of AWS and EBS within public cloud marketplace. As a member of the EBS team you'll work alongside bar-raising engineers and leaders to develop and operate one of the largest distributed storage systems in the world. You will have the opportunity to work with many other teams in AWS to build a secure, performant, and reliable system.About the teamThe AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) Data Services team is comprised of a diverse set of deep systems level software experts. We are responsible for the movement and transformation of data between the EBS storage primitives of volumes and snapshots. We own everything from the long term roadmap, design, implementation, and testing to the day to day monitoring and observability of the system. Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
