What You ll Do

• Provide overnight hospitalist coverage, managing adult inpatient care
• Handle a patient census averaging 15-18 with approximately 8 admits per shift
• Document patient encounters efficiently using EPIC EMR system (preferred experience)
• Collaborate with hospital staff and support teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital protocols
• No central line placements or complex procedures required
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and vaccination requirements

What You NeedRequired:

• North Carolina medical license (must be current and in hand before applying)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• DEA license
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Comfortable working autonomously and adhering to hospital protocols

Preferred:

• Prior hospitalist experience
• EPIC EMR experience
